Week 5

Hello, I hope you have had a great weekend,

We are already half way through the term and we seem to be reaching higher temperatures. Please can you ensure your child brings a named water bottle so they keep hydrated. Also, please can you remind your child to bring their hat. St Mary’s has the rule - no hat, no play.  So if they do not have a hat, they need to sit in the shade.

Swimming

This week K8 are swimming all week. Please ensure your child has their togs and towel each day. During our swimming weeks your child will not bring a book to read to you at the end of the week. Instead they will have a spelling activities to practice with you at home.

Kakano 8's school assembly on Friday 18th November - 2pm, School Hall

This week Kakano 8 will be presenting the school assembly. You are all invited to come along and watch. Most children will be speaking and they will all be doing a short dance to a book called 'Pete the Cat - Rocking in his School Shoes'.
