Welcome to Term 3!

 Welcome back to another Term!

We trust you all had a wonderful break even though the weather was not the best.

School Production

Term 3 will be a busy term with our school production happening during week 10.  All Kākano children will have a part in our production “Little Red Rocking Hood” and over the next 8 weeks will learn a dance they will perform with their class.  More information will be sent out about the production later in the term.

Winter Uniform

A reminder that children need to be wearing correct winter uniform.  Please ensure jerseys are named.  We encourage our students to be independent and to manage their own belongings.  You can support your child in this by reminding them to pack their own bags and to place jerseys into bags when they are not wearing them.

Art and Craft

If you have any empty boxes, containers, material, buttons, bottle caps that you no longer use we would love to have them in our class.  Our collage area is looking a bit empty and the children love to create with a variety of materials.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow,

Kākano Teachers
